Report – The ‘Grand Finale’ of the virtual event A Life On Canvas’ conceptualized and organized by IMA’S, Founder and Chair Person Swarnali Pal, was held on 26th July,2020. The event had started on 21st June’20 and thereafter continued on every Sunday with the participation of young budding talents from 5 – 18yrs performing Violin,Synthesizer, Drum, Guitar, Classical and Semi- Classical music, Dance Bharathanatiyam and Rabindra Nrityo,Tabla lahora,Flute,Sarod, Recitation and Mouth organ. Children also expressed their thoughts and feelings through beautiful drawings and craft works.
In the Grand finale out of 47 participants
13 performed in Performing art and 10 in Visual art .
The occasion was graced by the presence of tabla maestro Pt. Samar Saha, Secretary of Kalamandalam Sri Somnath Kutty and eminent Kathak dancer Smt Jalsha Chandra. They encouraged the children with their aspiring speech.
This endeavour of IMA’S at this most difficult time of social distancing could spread the message of unity, care and camaraderie. This virtual gathering was enriched by the presence of many other eminent people who viewed from all over the world.
This is one more step of International Multispeciality Arts’ School to bring culture to Art Community worldwide.
