The role of school in conservation of natural and cultural heritage

The role of IMA‘S (International Multi specialty Arts`School,Kolkata)  in conservation of our natural and cultural heritage helps students  in various activities which will help them to develop the country. The student will also develop a practical plan of action that may inspire students to appreciate their natural and cultural heritage and feel as responsible citizens of India, to protect the environment. The speed of development in our country has brought a lot of changes both in the physical environment and cultural patterns on an incredible level. As a result, the familiar environs and the related cultural significance are  lost.

We have to understand that whatever is lost today, due to ignorance, lack of awareness or concern or improper planning can not be recovered, be it a plant species or an historical memorial. The school will be  taking up the task of sensitizing its students to their role as future and responsible patriot of the rich natural and cultural resources of our country. The objectives  of the school is to study simple techniques by which students can be absorbed in looking after historical monuments and other natural and cultural property of their region,- to develop a realistic plan of action that may inspire students to appreciate the natural and cultural heritage of India and to be responsible citizens.
